Conversion to Holiday Mode

Hello folks, i'm back again. haha

Finally, my poly vacation has commenced from today onwards. This has been long awaited.

Well, this time, i am writing to update about my DCEG FT/1A/03 class. This is a great class as we share the same topics and have fun together. I remembered the 1st day of school, where everybody was very quiet and alien to each other. But now, we are bonded very strongly and are planning to have a BBQ a couple weeks later. Last sunday, we have fun at Palawan Beach- Sentosa, haha. But i was just a photographer because i had to leave early to go to my friend's house. Anyway, let these pictures speak for themselves.(not all people in my class are present)

Well, MST is coming right after the 3 week vacation, what i am struggling now is Digital Electronics, Engineering Maths and Structured Programming. Anyway, i will use these 3 weeks to catch up on them.

A Maths/SPROG= Skullcrackers!( 1 more week & closing)

Hello there folks, i'm back again, haha.

One MORE week to SP's 3 week school vacation. I cannot wait to meet up with my secondary school friends. My buddy leonard has planned a reunion dinner with our group of good friends and frankly speaking, i am looking very forward to that day we will gather together and catch up with our lives.

Well, as for my week 5 in SP, we were informed that right after our 3-week vacation, there would be MST(Mid-Semestral Test) for all our modules. Thinking of MST makes my head spin. I am having problems with the Trigo Ratios in my A Maths as it is more to what i have learnt about Trigonometry in MJR. I almost pulled my hair out when bombard with so many formulas, applications and requires understanding in order to work out the questions. I hope to use the 3 week vacation to catch up on my Trigo.

As for SPROG, the pseudocode is getting more & more complicated. Many statements to write and cannot even have a capital error, otherwise the whole program will not be able to compile and run. I am getting more mixed up with the statements!.

Also, week 5 is the commencing of my Dee Jay CCA, the instruments are quite complicated and we need to learn how to count the number of beats/min. The skills of mixing of music and how to bar the music etc. When our coach "DJ Rattle" gave us a demo. I was very impressed with his skills and gave him a quick 2 thumbs up!!!!. Well, for this week, we will be recaping the same issues and learn new things as well.

The weekend is also great as tetsu and myself went to watch Ironman(again) at suntec as there are no good shows currently except Ironman. After the show, we just walked around the suntec area and train home at 7pm plus.

On Vesak day, which was my godfather's Brithday, which he turned 60 this year. My family met up with my family and drove down to a jurong east restaurant. For myself, it was quite boring as the limelight was on the elders as they sang the KTV and i listened to my Hip-Hop music. Finally at around 10pm, we cut the cake and sang him the Brithday song.

Tick-Tock-Tic-Tock(Advancing towards Vacation)

Hey folks, i'm back again everyone, haha.

Well, this is already week 5 in SP, how time files.

As for last week, it was quite a fun but also a tiring week, During my TCS and IDEA, we had fun in our presentation to the entire class and lecturers. During the IDEA presentation, we were supposed to come up with a "Original" design using the ZBrush, i saw many of my classmates came up with many weird-looking but beautiful designs, one particularly came up with a clown-like design, his name is Ren Rui, but we abbreviate his name and called him R2. My design is more like a futuristic toy which i came up with some crazy ideas that even related it to Military Reconnassiance Missions that were used in The Cold War.

As for the TCS presentation, our class was given a theme and were asked to write a short essay & picture(Interpretion)for presentation to the whole class. I admit that i was quite nervous and this was funny as my classmates noticed that i kept "bouncing" throughout my presentation and frankly made myself a joker out there. But overall my presentation review is good.

My mind is now counting down to the 3-week vacation which long awaited as i can meet up with my sec school friends and have a catch up with our poly lives and relax our minds.:)

Well, as for other modules, everything remained at the same pace.

Complications on the way!

hello folks, i'm back again.

well, this is already week 4, how fast time files...... Slowly getting used to the poly lifestyle, everytime i put on my casual clothing i feel that i am going out to have fun(too used to wearing uniform during 11 years of studies). My class is great as we have our break and lunch together and crack jokes with each other, and what's more, many sat together during break to play Counter-Strike, haha.

How i wish that our 3 week vacation starting from may 31th will come very quickly. Well, as for my lectures in class, all nothing but getting quicker and quicker, my EM1 is going to another booklet!!!!, as for my PEEE, i am slowly getting lecturer's method of calculation, as poly method of calculation in Physics Electricity is so different compared to secondary school.

Last week was also the CCA week fair, where 80 over CCAs get together to display the infomation and activities of their CCA on booths. As for myself, i joined the SP Dee Jay club as i am interested in Turntablism , Scratching and Mixing of music altogether in the DJ mixer, haha, it is going to be fun and exciting in the DJ club.:)
