Here to pen down my bottled up feelings.
Ever since the return of my trip to China, i have been wanting to go back there over and over again. Because the environment there just makes me feel so free and easy, no city life stress and worries, it just make me a really free person.
The place that i visited, Guizhou. The people there lived a life of simplicity but with hardship as company. The things there are very affordable and especially the hand-sewn cloths which are very beautiful and they sell to us tourists at a very low price. I could see that they are coming out to fight for their survival. They are content and patient people and unlike us Singaporeans are always craving for something cheap and and getting frustrated very easily. Their independent ability is very very strong and i can see children that are 5-6 years of age walking alone for 4 hours to and back from school without their parents accompanying them.
Many people of my age prefer shopping and food destinations like South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong. During my trip, there are quite a number of teenagers and children. My brother said that the trip was boring but i beg to differ. Many youngsters today do not know how to appreciate the environment and nature scenery, which help people distress themselves.
I will love to embrace nature and live a simple life and when i grow up and earn enough, i want to visit places with beautiful and spectacular scenery which is of course China, New Zealand, The Swiss Alps etc.
I would encourage my friends and especially Chinese to visit China at least once in their lifetime, i can guarantee the scenery there will put a WOW on their faces and also understand their roots better and clearer.

Guiyang: A mesmerizing place
Hello folks, I am back on my trip to Guiyang, China. My apologies for the delay because i had severe diarrhea for the past few days.( Post supposed to be up on Monday but is posted on Friday 19th dec)
First of all, the place is very mountainous and has many breathtaking scenery and the least developed province in China. Thus it retains its beauty and flora and fauna.
Overall, the trip was fun, exciting but very tiring as we climbed mountains and valleys but the panoramic view of the scenery was spectacular. I shall let the pictures speak for themselves. I shall post more photos soon.
The last couple of days of the tour was back in the Guiyang city as the tour took us a huge round in the Guizhou province. We shopped around the city area and international brands can be found like Chanel, Dior etc.
When on the last night when we were waiting to board the plane back to Singapore, the plane was delayed for 3 hours at first due to 2 passengers who required emergency medical attention and the plane had to land at Bangkok. The plane finally arrived at the Guiyang Airport but it could not take off due to the crew working hours had exceeded. Thus, we had to wait till 3.50pm for the next flight out and i saw many Singaporeans wining and complaining. We then proceeded to the allocated hotels and our group consisted of 132 people and only 13 including my family did our "homework" for the tour guide and he gave us the best hotel to rest in and in the afternoon board our filght back to Singapore.
Back in Singapore, the same old group of "typical Singaporeans" complained again and demanded compensation. I stood there and wondered to myself: Isn't it good to be back home? Why complain so much? Previous filght are forced to be delayed man. That gave me a very bad impression of them and proves that in social terms, Singapore is underdeveloped...... REALLY. ok folks, i shall end here, be back soon.:)

China China Here I Come!!!
Hello folks, i am back again.
Phew, finally all my papers are completed and i am looking forward to my holiday tour in Guiyang China.
Here is my review of the MST 2 of 2008.
Our batch officially took 3 core modules paper and i personally think Maths is the most manageable of them all. However, for the rest of the 2 papers, DE and PEEE, the DE took me by surprise. The format of the paper differed from the past year papers that i had practiced and i screwed the paper up and screw it bad. For the PEEE, many of the students can apply the formulas and methods but have no idea whether it works and there were many loopholes to trick us. Overall, i just hope that i can pass my core subjects.
And the time is just too fast for me, it is going to be 2009 in less than a month and year 2 is dawning quickly. I cannot think of the obstacles that i am going to face in the upcoming year 2 as i am still having so much trouble to sort out my understandings on the digital and electrical connections. Singapore Polytechnic does put a lot of pressure on its students as projects keep on coming and go. I guess that is preparing us for the future work life and this is a problem of having to mantain a 1st class status, if you know what i mean folks.
All right, i shall end here. Be back with photos of my trip to China. CIAO
